Our Peaceful Moments
We are a group of women – just like you. We are older, we are younger. We have 7 kids, we have 2 adopted kids, we adopted our granddaughter, we have no children and never will. We are a breast cancer survivor. We are a stay at home mom. We are a business owner. We are a teacher. We have kids addicted to meth and to pain medications. We have a son in prison.
We are a childhood abuse survivor. We are on disability. We walk with a cane.
We love Jesus. We love to pray. And we want to share what God has done for us, in us, and through us.
We are a Sunday School class of women, who have found that we are stronger together than alone. We have found that when one of us is down, another is strong. And later, that one is strong when someone else is hurting. We are a
strong piece of fabric, woven together in pain, worship, love, and beauty. We are learning what it means to be a daughter of the King of Kings, to represent him well, to bask in the wonder of being a princess, and to commandeer the appropriate kingdom resources.
We are compelled to add YOU to our fabric, weaving you in through prayers of faith as we share our prayer cards with you.
Your Peaceful Moments
There’s nothing magical about these prayer cards. But they do represent important ideas and thoughts that have moved us, changed us, and deepened us personally on our spiritual journeys. These prayer cards are just a guide to inspire your own prayers, and to open your heart and mind to God, and to what he wants to say to you. We have personally prayed over these cards – we have prayed for YOU; for your individual journey and for God to take our thoughts and joys, our pains and triumphs, and use them to move and change you as He has us!
And there’s nothing magical about taking a bath and relaxing and using this as your prayer time. But the important thing is
TO MAKE a time for your prayers, and a bath is a great way to shut out the world and its call to busyness, and to stop
DOING anything and just pray and listen!
We pray you will find God afresh as you commit to spending time with Him in peace and quiet and openness.
Our Scripture Prayer for You
“Now this is eternal life; that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” John 17:3
This is one of the things we have prayed over you – that you may know, intimately, the God who made you and who
gave His life for your salvation!
Jesus is The Word – He has much to say to you if you will be still and listen!
